Dear Pastor, church, friends and family,
Greetings in our Lord Jesus Christ. “Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what
He hath done for my soul.” Psalm 66:16. We are thankful for God’s blessings past and for the hope ahead.
As some will recall, the Lord gave Tony Hepp and I, the opportunity to go to Cambodia for a few
days to visit the work of one of our church missionaries,

Chheng Nuon.
Pastor Chheng had planned special services and we preached five times each. His people were so kind and receptive to the Word of
God and tolerant with us, as we spoke through interpreters. Two adult men made public professions of
faith in those meetings. Many attended from the two churches that Chheng pastors and some gave
testimony of being encouraged in the Word of God. As many know, Bro. Chheng is in the states now
taking special treatments for Hepatitis C. Please continute to pray for Pastor Chheng and his wife,
Sophorn, and the churches, in these days of waiting and healing. Bro. Tony left his job as an engineer,
and a nice home in the Dallas area, and his ministry at our church, to attend a Baptist Theological
Seminary in Kentucky. Please pray for and remember Tony in his studies and ministries. He has a heart
for reaching out to souls. We enjoyed going with him, and other young men from our church, to the West
End in Dallas, on Saturday nights; to preach and to witness and to pass out good Gospel messages, for
those that would listen and receive.
More recently, Irene and I made a missionary preaching trip to Uruguay and Argentina. We
were only gone four weeks. The days went fast and our stay, was far too short. Most of our time was spent
in Montevideo and near Buenos Aires. We are grateful for the work that goes forward in those areas, and
for the faithful men that God has raised up to preach the Gospel and to start local Baptist Churches for His
glory. It is easy to be wordy, when recalling the ministry and the many folks that God brought us into
contact with, while we were living in Montevideo. If I begin to name names and places and events, the
page and space will soon be filled. Everyone was kind to us, and more opportunities were available, than
we could fit into our limited schedule. The Lord willing, and the invitations being still open, and Irene
and I continuing in good .health, will sometime in the future, be going back for another visit to Uruguay.
Thank you each one for your faithful support for the year of 2003 and for those of you that gave
special offerings in November and December. We were able to take and share, with some of the pastors
and faithful workers in Montevideo, a nice gift for Christmas. We continue to send offerings as we have
opportunity for the work in Uruguay. The church that we left is going faithfully under the leadership of
Pastor Carlos Di Leo. This church is self-supporting and helps their pastor, but, with the economy, he
does have to work some. Times are difficult in these days in South America. Many, many people have
left the country looking for a better way of life. We are grateful for the pastors that are staying. We want
to have a part in their ministries as they preach and reach out to souls in their areas. As you continue to
support us, or designate a special offering to Uruguay; we will be able to have a part, along with you, in
their outreach. God bless you and thank you for your love and faithfulness to Christ and for His work.
Support and offerings received in 2003:
The opportunity to go to Cambodia
Special offerings for Uruguay from some men in the church
Love and prayers from all
Sincerely in Christian love,
Don & Irene

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
I John 3:1-3
